A book on legal problems encountered by the people on a daily basis authored by Barrister Omar H Khan was launched at the lecture theatre auditorium of Fine Arts faculty of Dhaka University on Sunday.
Legal counsel published the book titled ‘Legal Stories of Life’.

The book is divided into several chapters, namely, commercial, criminal, employment, family, property and miscellaneous which gave necessary insights into the legal problems through sufficient details, said Omar H Khan while speaking at the launch event.

He further said that as law is the part of culture and daily life, this book would help the general people to connect to legal issues relevant to their lives. He also said that they had plans to distribute ten thousand books free of cost.

Renowned painters Rafiqun Nabi, Monirul Islam, Shahid Kabir, Jamal Ahmed, Rokeya Sultana, Mohammad Iqbal and Mustafa Khalid Palash painted seven paintings to illustrate the book which would help general people to connect to the book’s content, he added.

Chaired by dean of Faculty of Fine Arts of Dhaka University Professor Nisar Hossain, the programme was also addressed by Professor Rahmat Ullah, dean of law faculty as special guest and vice-chancellor of the university professor Akhtaruzzaman, who was the chief guest.
