Photography
P hotograph is certainly a very strong media to convey any message. It has been historically seen that many photographs have created revolutionary changes in the society, in the mindset of people and thus shaped the history. Based on the strong persuasiveness of this media, it has been considered that Legal Stories of Life shall contain photos so that the stories become more vivid and appealing to the readers. A photography contest was accordingly arranged on 9 themes and the best-chosen photo from each of this theme was published at the relevant part of the book. The jury board of the competition also determined the first, second and third positions from all the 9 themes.
While the paintings published in the book are painted by the most prominent painters of Bangladesh, the photography contest was only restricted to the amateurs. For most of them this is also the first publication of their photographs. Legal Stories of Life thus become a story of the life of these photographers too!
